DESCRIPTION
This 60-bail rotary shed boasts stunning ocean views, allowing you to check the fishing conditions while you milk. The platform was installed by Moa, and the plant was installed by Hunts. The shed is equipped with a Waikato Drafting System, enabling easy sorting of cows. A lean-to is attached, housing a head bale, while an underpass provides direct access to the centre of the pit.
Two of the largest silos in the region are featured, along with a pole barn constructed behind them to facilitate on-farm feed mixing, which is then fed into the in-shed feed system. The roof is made from Coloursteel Max to withstand the coastal environment and is ventilated at its highest point to release hot air and promote air circulation. A central strip of Clearlite allows natural light to brighten the space, while aluminium slider windows provide additional airflow to keep the shed cool on hot days.
Inside, the shed includes a kitchen, toilet, milk room, pump room, and a vet room, complete with a fold-down vet platform for easy access to stock while on the platform.
