DESCRIPTION
This 50 bail rotary shed was completed as a modern, efficient upgrade for a hardworking farming family after many years milking in a small herringbone shed. This build marked a significant step forward in both capacity and ease of operation.
The shed has been designed with efficiency and practicality in mind. It features a fold-down vet platform for safe and easy access to cows, along with an underpass providing convenient entry into the centre of the shed during milking.
Supporting infrastructure includes in-shed feeding supplied by two silos, as well as a well-appointed internal layout consisting of a wash room, pump room, kitchenette/office, vet room, and a self-contained chemical shed.
The yard layout has been carefully planned to promote smooth and efficient stock flow. It includes a vet race, multiple holding pens, an automated drafting system, and a loading ramp. Both yard gates are fitted with scrapers and water nozzles to maintain cleanliness and keep the yards operating efficiently.
